Classic Add-ons Archive
Classic Add-ons Archive is standalone catalog of Firefox add-ons created using XUL/XPCOM before Mozilla decided to ruin the classic extensions ecosystem and go exclusively to WebExtensions.
All download links currently point to AMO, but the full copy is stored in the cloud in case any other destructions from Mozilla follow. Please be patient and don't ask to reveal it earlier than necessary, and if you have a copy of some add-ons that are not in this catalog just drop me a PM.
Questions, suggestions and bug reports are welcome as usual.

I am not sure what you are saying here. Is it not quite up and running yet?JustOff wrote:Please be patient and don't ask to reveal it earlier than necessary
I got this error when I installed it:

This applies only to a private add-ons storage (not AMO).gracious1 wrote:I am not sure what you are saying here. Is it not quite up and running yet?JustOff wrote:Please be patient and don't ask to reveal it earlier than necessary
It seems your browser does not have enough permissions to create a folder or file in the profile directory.I got this error when I installed it
UPD: I found the bug (linux-specific), the update will follow soon.

Re: Classic Add-ons Archive
Search button color being not as good as rest of site is very minor thing all in all when everything else on site looks pleasant (including other buttons).
If anybody else wants also to make minor edit to search button color one line easy edit to css file of addon will do it.
button.search-button background-image: url(go-arrow.png), linear-gradient (#84C63C, #489615)

Re: Classic Add-ons Archive
Just so as I understand....
What exactly is downloaded in the 30+ MB when you install, for example, ca-archive-1.0.8.xpi ? It is a database with a UI that lets you access a catalog of XUL and bootstrap FF extensions? And this catalog with the UI is stored locally, but all the entries to point to XPI files that are located externally, that is, currently at AMO and eventually on a cloud site that JustOff is building?
Did I get it right?
P.S. Could it support personas (lightweight themes)? Right now it doesn't appear to, and I am concerned about continuing to be able to access personas once the "classic" AMO site goes away. (It hasn't been discussed, but perhaps changes may also come to personas that will make them incompatible with Pale Moon?)

@gracious1:
1. Yes, this is how CAA works.
2. I have no plans concerning personas.

Re: Classic Add-ons Archive
Thanks a lot JustOff!!!
That addon is great and superuseful
I installed the xpi from github (https://github.com/JustOff/ca-archive/releases) but it would be great for most user to be able to fin in AMO.
is it possible? is AMO completely closed for new XUL extensions?
What about palemoon addons page?

Re: Classic Add-ons Archive
There is no official way to add a new non-WebExtension since April 2017, and I see no reason to use the backdoor still left for now to do so for CAA.dapgo wrote:is AMO completely closed for new XUL extensions?
I'm in close contact with Pale Moon Add-ons Team to give full play to it.What about palemoon addons page?
