Need help with setting up sync on android!

Unread post by lunatone00 » 2017-08-13, 19:14

I synced on my computer already, and I've tried to do it for android but it's not working! I was following this (http://www.palemoon.org/sync/help/easy-setup.shtml), but I don't see a 12-character code - just dots.

Please pay close attention to which steps you have to perform on a desktop installation and which steps you have to perform on your mobile device.

I'll check if the server is running properly.

For some mysterious reason the server was powered off. I rebooted it.

EDIT: Checked and should be functioning; I'll ask support what happened to the server

Update: Apparently the server had been in an OFF state for 4 days, without any discernible reason.
Please let me know immediately if this happens again, so I can have them on it right away and maybe find out why their VPSes just shut down for no apparent reason.

I've made sure to get some server watchdogs running so I'm informed when servers go down. The provider didn't have an answer as to why the server was off.
