Wow, that's dedication! Thanks for continuing your hard work, even when out of the country.
Re: Mac 27.3.0 build
I am very glad it still works with Snow Leopard - the only modern browser that can be used with this OS.
Keep up the good work!

Re: Mac 27.3.0 build
Hey,
So I just updated to 27.3 (very happy about it) -- except that suddenly I can't log into any online banking anywhere, or send attachments in gmail, even with addons disabled.
Is anyone else having any similar issues? ...Or, more to the point, does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks!

Re: Mac 27.3.0 build
This seems to have been lost in the mists of time and I'm curious: is the source for the Mac build available? I'd like to see what's needed to patch regular Pale Moon releases for Mac.
Re: Mac 27.3.0 build
Currently there are no outstanding patches. All you need is a mozconfig, the developer tools, and a handful of libraries and you should be able to build a fresh tree much as you would on Linux.
Re: Mac 27.3.0 build
Check out this thread for the difficulties in getting PM to build under OS X.
https://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=10389
If you have some time, a more detailed how-to would be very much appreciated.

Re: Mac 27.3.0 build
Ah, that thread mostly relates to the older 26.x.x series. There were numerous build difficulties during that time frame -- have you tried with the new 27 tree though? It took a lot less work to get it building on Mac than 26 did historically.

I'd like to update but don't want to run into this.
Thanks heaps, guys! Best browser for Mac, by far!
Re: Mac 27.3.0 build
I've used 27.3.0 as my daily browser since release day, and it generally works quite well. Hopefully that issue isn't widespread and the OP figured out a workaround or solution.

Re: Mac 27.3.0 build
I just started to use Pale Moon in place of Firefox. I am using this latest available version.
Everything is working without problems so far.
Glad to see macOS development is going forward. Respect to the OP!

Re: Mac 27.3.0 build
The only thing I'd like to change is the app icon on Mac: it became a grey one in this build. Is it possible to return to the milky blue icon?
Re: Mac 27.3.0 build
GHSRobert, unfortunately the blue icon is reserved for official builds. We need another maintainer and to fix a couple of issues (auto-update not working, for example) before Moonchild would allow the Mac build to be official. Applications for maintainership are open

Re: Mac 27.3.0 build
It's a great icon, just a bit too small.
Re: Mac 27.3.0 build
one issue i found is that silverlight wouldn't be found though it is installed. Both flash ( which did work ), and silverlight were installed into `/Library/Internet\ Plugins`
Re: Mac 27.3.0 build
So i tried installing the newest silverlight (by default it was downloading an old 3.xx release ,how ? : http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid= ... .0.40624.0 <--- change the last query to the preferred version https://www.microsoft.com/getsilverligh ... _5_1_50907). then i deleted the pluginreg.dat and blocklist.xml files from my profile. None of this had any effect though! I guess it is due to mozilla's plugin blocking being forced to affect the palemoon install somehow
Re: Mac 27.3.0 build
Just installed to replace Firefox on my 10.6.8 system. So far all is well with the same extensions running.
Excellent and hope you can keep the support for the older system.

Re: Mac 27.3.0 build
I just installed this on 10.6.8 with SeaMonkey 2.40 running and Firefox 45 installed. When I launched it, SeaMonkey stopped responding & so stopped playing an internet radio station. It then caused my system to overheat to the point of kicking on the fans on my MacBook, and it was slow to respond. While the other two were slow trying to run in 64-bit mode, I don't remember them overheating my system. Having them run in 32-bit mode made them more quick to respond. I'd do the same with Pale Moon, but that's not an option on its Info Panel. Please add this option in a future release. Thanks in advance!
Re: Mac 27.3.0 build
Hi, sorry but I am not likely to release a 32 bit build any time soon. Too much time invested for little return (32 bit is dead!) However you could build it yourself without too much trouble if you like.
