Thanks for taking the time to run those benchmarks!

The short hangs you talk about, what exactly do you mean? You have to realize that these tests are very CPU intensive so the browser may become unresponsive while it's running the test.

On Real World performance, I do get some hanging when I am scrolling and highlighting text, since I am a hyper-extensive user.

Smooth scroll on and off.
Hardly a problem on Aurora and Nightly, yet they have the same extensions, I will have to find and disable what causes that on PM, though.
The only thing not on Aurora and Nightly is the Statusbar, not even the Status-4-Evar. Hmm...I will quickie note if I find the culprit, after I try a new Profy.

Edit: This hardly happens with all add-ons disabled, only PM Statusbar on, so time to crawl for the add-on causing this.
Plugins are not causing this.

Edit 2: It was Brief when getting updates, not what I expected really...and/or Tabs Mix Plus.

I mean with short hang a browser breeze with the windows title "no response".

Yeah that would be the result of the browser being so busy running the test at full bore that it is slow to report that it's still alive to the O.S., that's to be expected.

Most likely because Pale Moon does things faster than Firefox, so there's less "idle" time for the browser.

The later versions of the Fox are being focused on hanging, but PM has had that covered(maybe something is telling PM to slow down because websites load much faster on PM to begin with).

Also, I get the "Not responding" due to Flash, no browser has been able to tame that.
