@athenian200 :-

Just wanted to say "Thank you" for this. It's a nicely lightweight alternative to current ThunderBird.....and integrates very sweetly with Pale Moon for web links. And of course, it's a bonus that both are built around Goanna under UXP.

I've re-packaged it into the 'portable' format that works best for us in 'Puppy' Linux. Works beautifully.

Thanks again!

Mike. :D

Is this still being maintained? No new released has been made for some time.

Yes, and this is a good thing. Correct plan is to not release, unless something actually needs to be fixed.

Yes there are a few rough edges. But living with those is far better than trying to keep up with the firehoses of disruption from TB and BB.

Including security updates though? I wasn't meaning new features :D

Not many security issues apply to Epyrus. It is a mail client, which will (for hopefully obvious reasons) not run any scripting in e-mails, which will make 99+% of the vulnerabilities there could potentially be unexploitable. Additionally, it will primarily only connect to known servers (those configured to collect mail) or only connect to retrieve display content (remote images etc.). This will only leave the few and far between issues there might be in e.g. image decoders or the parser. As such, rapid release of it is nonsense.
