Hello,
Today I wanted to log into my Gmail account in Epyrus. The screenshot says that Epyrus is not verified by Google. Is it planned to get such verification in the future?
Have a nice weekend 🙃

Re: Will Epyrus get Google Verified?
I am not using epyrus for my e-mail, but alpine and fetchmail.
If "google verified" means obtaining the "certification" from G* that the program is not one of what they call "less secure mail programs", I know from the respective mailing lists that is a compelx and perhaps costly procedure. The author of fecthmail was not in favour of doing it, the author of alpine possibly did some workaround. Only the Epyrus author has the answer.
Since I wanted to continue using alpine and fetchmail (and I cannot escape using Gsuite/gmail for my work address), I found two possibilities (I use a combination since quite a long time):
One is to instruct the gmail address to forward all messages to a different provider which is fetchmail-friendly.
The other one is to define an "app password" on the gmail account (this implies setting up 2FA, and going to a procedure which generates a password, shown on the screen and saved nowhere in a recoverable manner, note it down, and use it as password to access gmail instead of your personal one.
