Mac/FreeBSD builds
I did some builds for Mac and FreeBSD of 2.0.2. Like Pale Moon, the ARM64 version is signed and notarized, Intel64 is just signed.

Re: Mac/FreeBSD builds
Thank you for helping out with that, dbsoft! I literally could not do Mac builds myself.

Re: Mac/FreeBSD builds
My pleasure! Hope people get good use out of it!
Re: Mac/FreeBSD builds
Thanks @dbsoft - found this topic thanks to athenian200 following a zig-zag trace, despite of you "making a binky"/ darting sideways/ trying to cover your tracks ..
Nah, just being naughty - it's all good. I understand this is the consolidated/ combined macOS/ FreeBSD topic here & now. Thanks for compiling - v.2.0.2 Intel running fine here

Is macOS Mojave supported on Mac Intel? Couldn't run Epyrus on it and got the error:
Excerpt from Report:Epyrus 202 cannot be opened because of a problem.
Check with the developer to make sure Epyrus 202 works with this version of macOS. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and macOS.

Re: Mac/FreeBSD builds
Should be, it isn't a version I test on regularly... but that error is indicating a problem with the code signature... in the future I won't be signing on Intel unless I start notarizing them.
To remove the signature open Terminal.app and run this command:
Code: Select all
codesign --remove-signature /Applications/Epyrus.app/
Re: Mac/FreeBSD builds
That helped - everything works fine now. Thanks. To remove the signature open Terminal.app and run this command:

Thank you again for providing these! You're helping bring Epyrus to people who otherwise wouldn't get the chance to use it.dbsoft wrote: ↑2023-09-19, 04:082.1.0 Builds:

Re: Mac/FreeBSD builds
Can I also add my thanks towards the parties involved in porting/building both PaleMoon AND Epyrus to the FreeBSD platform. It has made my multi-OS multi-PC home setup (and the work I do on a MUD client runnable on multiple OSs) so much simpler with an email client and a web-browser (with sync) that is so cross-platform. Mind you with the way that that OS is finally starting to make some headway I might be asking awkward questions about building them both on GNU/Hurd in the future...

Glad people are enjoying the builds!SlySven wrote: ↑2024-01-21, 22:41Can I also add my thanks towards the parties involved in porting/building both PaleMoon AND Epyrus to the FreeBSD platform. Regarding Hurd, one of the contributors to the project successfully built Pale Moon for Hurd.... so it is possible in the future. However I personally don't run Hurd and don't know if he has any plans to do builds for it.

Re: Mac/FreeBSD builds
Went ahead and linked this thread on the official Epyrus website. I had meant to do that a while back, but now I finally got around to it. Sometimes I almost forget I have the website.

Epyrus 2.1.2 has been released. This is a minor update to Epyrus, but a major security and platform update.
Here is the stuff I know is done:
- Windows 7 bug that caused issue when window was maximized is fixed.
- Work Offline feature should now work properly.
- All security and platform updates to UXP since the last release.

How do you access the password manager in Epyrus? Is it possible to retrieve stored passwords for accounts?
