vCard standard for Address Book?

Hello:

In the current Thunderbird, the Contacts seem to be saved under the vCard standard.
E.G. it is possible to have multiple email addresses for the same contact, with each email address having a custom label of its own.
Are there plans to move Epyrus in this direction?
Or would implementing this feature require significant modifications to the core code inherited from Thunderbird 52?

CardBook 38.0 implements this feature and seems to work with Epyrus, so maybe it is not necessary to implement the feature natively?

Thanks!

I've been saying this for years that I think the best add-on to be integrated into any XUL fork of Thunderbird is Cardbook v. 37.5/38. It is the only way to get vcard access of your cloud-hosted contacts.
