http://www.epyrus.org/ does not work..?
I just tried to go to "http://www.epyrus.org/" and got this weird "screen" that says "Knock..Knock"?? It has some weird "downward scrolling" Chinese text(?)
I also tried https://www.epyrus.org/ and got a security warning that it was not safe/secure.
Is there a way to access the Epyrus website? I can get to the rest of the site (Extensions, Themes, Etc...) just fine.

Well, I haven't set it up yet. That's sort of a placeholder, I'm still in the process of creating my website, among other things like getting automatic updates setup, organizing my subforum the way I want it, etc.
The addons site is the only part that's setup, I'm planning to put something there soon though.

With the Athenians, the rights of the State and of the individual found as perfect a union as was possible at all at the level of the Greek spirit." -- Hegel's philosophy of Mind

Actually a lot of that is katakana, which is Japanese, not Chinese.

Nothing beat ZMatrix. Had that for years. Instead of a mere screensaver, it worked like an active wallpaper, streaming the letters in the background over your existing wallpaper and using that. The actual screensaver would overlay your entire desktop when activated, with all windows rendered in the flowing text. And finally, there was a Winamp plugin included which would stream the letters in tune with current music being played! Alas, it doesn't work on Windows 10 and while open source, hasn't been updated or forked.somdcomputerguy wrote: ↑2022-09-30, 01:49The Matrix Trilogy Screensaver I've used it for years and years.. I'll have to check that out. The Winamp plugin sounds very interesting. Too bad I only have a Win10 laptop. We'll see..moonbat wrote: ↑2022-09-30, 01:58Off-topic:

Still, it's instantly recognizable for the franchise.

Hey I did my best making an as-good-as-possible lookalike using canvas and some JS not taking forever+1, based on a previous effort by someone else that I thought "didn't quite cut it" in terms of how it looked Open Source the way it's meant to be used! GPL licensed, repo here.
