minimize to tray
just to be sure - do you need an addon to minimize Epyrus to tray? I used tb-tray back then with Fossamail and Interlink, but thought it might now be integrated, maybe? although I couldn't find a setting anywhere. and otherwise, what would be the most lightweight addone for this?

Re: minimize to tray
Non-addons:
Iconize any app to tray with 7+ Taskbar Tweaker
Minimize programs to the system tray with Iconize
Minimize any window to system tray or to Iconic Tray
Yes some of these are a history trip.

Re: minimize to tray
how do you iconize a given program to tray with 7+ Taskbar Tweaker? I'm on Win10. I couldn't find an option?
are there addons otherwise? Those two others really are very old. I looked into Windhawk mods but couldn't find one either

Re: minimize to tray
There's "Trayy" which is an open source minimalist program to minimize applications to the system tray.
If you want more desktop enhancing functions you may want to look into Actual Tools/Actual Window Manager. They've been around for a long time and I've used their tools a lot in the past (just haven't really bothered to use it with Windows 10). IMHO worth the money and then some.

Re: minimize to tray
So I was wondering how to get this working on Linux since Epyrus does not include a minimize to tray setting. Kakusu (On the Epyrus add-ons store) does not work with epyrus anymore for some reason.
The solution:
Install FireTray from the Thunderbird addons store here:
https://services.addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/firetray/
This enables minimizing to tray in Linux and Windows.

Re: minimize to tray
The FireTray add-on has been forked: https://github.com/Ximi1970/FireTray
New features and a fix for Windows 10 x64. If I understand correctly, Thunderbird dropped XUL extension support in verion 61. So the Ximi1970 extension that works with TB v7 through v60 should be compatible with Epyrus.
I haven't installed Epyrus yet, but I am interested in user's experience with the Ximi1970 extension.
