Remove deselected entries under Unified Folders/Inbox?

Unread post by back2themoon » 2024-12-10, 16:32

Hello everyone,

So I use the Unified Folders mode. If I right-click on Inbox/Properties/Choose... and deselect one or more account Inboxes, the search is updated but their entries will still remain nested under Inbox. I think in the newer Thunderbird(s) this changed, and those accounts disappear immediately under the Unified Inbox which seems the logical thing to do. I assume the same occurs with Unified Sent etc.

This seems tricky with Epyrus and couldn't find a way to do it. Any tips, welcome. Not a huge issue if not possible.

Well, if this is something that only changed in newer Thunderbird, it could be that I would need to change something in Epyrus to make this possible. Maybe there's a patch I could backport or something, I'd be willing to look into it.
"The Athenians, however, represent the unity of these opposites; in them, mind or spirit has emerged from the Theban subjectivity without losing itself in the Spartan objectivity of ethical life. With the Athenians, the rights of the State and of the individual found as perfect a union as was possible at all at the level of the Greek spirit." -- Hegel's philosophy of Mind

Thanks. I'm no expert in tracking these down. My first, quick attempt found this. It's most probably not related to this, but at least it must be the correct sub-section. Will keep looking.
