I'm not sure how to categorize this, as good news or bad news. It appears that FXOpera version 25.4, on which PMOpera was probably based, is severely broken, with large numbers of issues. These issues were corrected in subsequent versions of FXOpera for Firefox versions >24.*. All of these numerous issues, unfortunately, also appear to have been ported to PMOpera. That's the bad news. However, the good news is that FXOpera version 22 appears to have none of the issues of version 25.4. That is, FXOpera version 22 works near perfectly in Pale Moon. FXOpera has received 111 5-star reviews. One of these 5-star reviews contained the following information:Lootyhoof wrote:I've released an update to PMOpera, adding persona support, as well as a few general fixes. As it's got quite a few changes in it, for now it's a test build, v1.0.3test. I'd appreciate knowing how well it works.
The author of FXOpera apparently updated his add-on for newer Webkit/Blink versions of Opera, and didn't quite get the transformation done right until sometime after FXOpera version 25.4 was released."Opera 12" Australis compatible...
Please, make FXOpera 22 (last version with Opera Presto theme) support Fx 28+ (Australis). Maybe you create other theme named FXOpera Presto with it.
Note that the titlebar in FXOpera 22 is always set to blue, rather than to the color of the Windows theme or the persona. Also the background color of the quickdial grid page is always a lighter blue. That should limit the personas, which can be used, to non-clashing personas compatible with these blue colors (which is okay). In a previous post, I noted that custom pinned/unpinned and block buttons were not always visible against dark thumbnails in the quickdial grid. Custom thumbnail buttons in FXOpera version 22 are more visible than were buttons in FXOpera version 25.4 and PMOpera. Thus, these buttons are no longer considered an issue.
The install.rdf of FXOpera version 22 has a max version of Firefox 24.0. This max version was bumped to Firefox 25.0, with no issues noted,
