I'll be darned! The Restart button option is provided by Classic Theme Restorer. I never realized. Thanks a million for your help Lootyhoof.

Re: [Release] Photonic
Hello there. I have indeed noticed v3.1.0 has added that border under the tab bar when tabs are on the bottom so my question is how to disable that. I had been going around thinking what could've triggered that before checking release notes but now it's perfectly clear. Just asking because I personally am a fan of how the theme performed prior to 3.1.0.
And what might be possibly an unrelated question but is there any particular reason as to when updating Pale Moon, it resets theme selection to default?

Themes are strict compatibility. If it is falling back to default then the theme isn't seen as compatible at that time. A subsequent update to the theme might bring it back onto compatibility.
Remember an old version of a theme, like a language pack can bust the UI. Extensions can too but previously established Mozilla behavior of compatible-by-default can't be switched off by default else people would compain, loudly.

Re: [Release] Photonic
Fair enough. I'm just wondering since this has happened several times in the past, even though selecting the theme again after Pale Moon's update does make it usable, even though compatibility isn't warranted. But yes, it is always a better practice to use fully compatible addons/themes with the matching browser version.

Re: [Release] Photonic
That border was added in this commit by removing the following code:
Code: Select all
#navigator-toolbox[tabsontop=false]::after {
visibility: collapse;
}

Re: [Release] Photonic
That's exactly it, and adding that code into userChrome.css worked wonderfully. Thanks for the heads up, the tab bar is being displayed just as it was with the last versioncoffeebreak wrote: ↑2020-06-08, 18:31That border was added in this commit by removing the following code:If you add that code back, either in userChrome.css or with Stylem, it should remove the border under the tab bar.Code: Select all

Re: [Release] Photonic
I don't know if this is possible to implement, but Photon now has a new hourglass loading (Static - faded/bold) "animation" for those who have set the reduce animation pref.

Re: [Release] Photonic
Photonic has been updated to v4.0.0! This update mainly concerns users of Interlink, as it revamps a lot of the interface to conform with the recent release of Thunderbird 78. Please see below, for example, how Interlink looks now with Photonic:
I hope you enjoy it.

What's new?
- Pale Moon: show a border under the tab bar on Windows default theme only
- Interlink: use new tree/toolbar/addressbook stylings from Thunderbird 78
- Interlink: use Photon-esque styling for account central
- Interlink: remove sidebar grippy from address book too
- provide styling for hourglass-style loading throbber from Firefox 80+

It isn't possible via pref, though in this release I've added the icon, and userstyle, to enable it. Instructions can be found in that link.

Photon was a pretty big contributing factor in my switching to your client. No amount of CSS trickery could salvage that car accident.

There's no accounting for taste though -- but that is exactly why we have full theme support! So anyone can enhance/destroy their UI to their liking.

Could've just replaced the logo with a rainbow flag and be done with it

Re: [Release] Photonic
That looks to just be a lightweight theme (persona) applied onto the theme itself. Not really a big deal...
In any case, not something I'd want to pursue.

Re: [Release] Photonic
Hello, I run Linux Mint Cinnamon 19.2 and as you see from screenshot, the text in your otherwise very good theme is even more pale, than the text in titlebar, which is not bright at all.
I don't suppose that you will change something in your theme, of course, but I would be glad to receive some userChrome fix or anything else.

Re: [Release] Photonic
Thanks, I hate it. CanNOT use TB78, mostly because of the colorless touchscreen look. What would actually be useful is a theme to make current TB look like current Interlink.This update [makes] Interlink [look like] Thunderbird 78.
