This is just something I've been observing on this particular website for months, it happens sometimes that the website seems to load normally, but browser is still showing that it's loading (spinning circle on the tab, downloading data from website label in the status bar) virtually forever until you stop it.
Just wondering if someone noticed it too or am I again an oddball.
I haven't a clue what triggers it.

Re: stackoverflow.com - infinite loading
I got to the SOF site using the address below.
https://stackoverflow.com/questions
There was no spinning circle for me because I do not use a tab for a lone website. I just use my Navigation Toolbar which you can see in my screenshot attachment. When I clicked on "Homepage" to get a different address, a context window popped up telling me to choose one of the items in there to make it my "home page" and that is when I exited out of this site.

Re: stackoverflow.com - infinite loading
Just noticed it spams these continuously under Network tab when it happens, hence the seeming infinite loading.

Refresh one time, OK, refresh the other time, this error. I've yet to see if it only happens when getting this image from the server or if it also happens for certain other files.

Considering it's 403 errors (unauthorized) it may be an issue on their end with permissions. I'd report the 403 error stream to them.UCyborg wrote: ↑2026-04-10, 12:15Just noticed it spams these continuously under Network tab when it happens, hence the seeming infinite loading.

Today, Network tab showed nothing, but the icon on the tab was still spinning.
