Chase.com sign-in errors...

Post by f-117 » 2026-03-20, 01:02

I have been trying to sign-in to my Chase account for a few days. But when I use this address:
https://secure.chase.com/web/auth/dashboard#/dashboard/overview
All I get is a blue, blank screen with a spinning progress circle. Nothing else.

Here is what I have in the Error console:
Error Con Chase.png
I'm not sure what the problem is? I tried to contact Chase about this, and got no reply.

Any ideas if there is anything I can do in PM to fix this?
My version is PM 34.1.0 GTK3.
OS is Linux Mint 22.3
Thanks.

Scott

I clicked on the link you provided and I got through without any problems. Took about one second of time. To make this short, the page is saying to update your browser. And the browsers the page is recommending is Safari, Chrome, Edge and Firefox.
MX Linux 25.2 (Infinity) Xfce w/Pale Moon, Waterfox, Firefox
Linux Debian 13.6 (Trixie) Xfce w/Pale Moon, Waterfox, Firefox

I got through as well, but as Night Wing has said, it's a page telling you to update your browser, with no log in box. However, when I tried https://www.chase.com/ I do get a log in box (but still get a message at the top to update your browser).

Chase's IT people wrote the website to not like non-mainstream browsers.

Thanks guys for the help.

Here is my useragent for the Chase website (I made this a few years ago so perhaps it needs to be updated?):

general.useragent.override.chase.com Mozilla/5.0 (%OS_SLICE% rv:102.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/128.0

Well the current version of FF is 148, so maybe that will help.

It seems a private member (the #s bit) is not private enough. Here's a Modify HTTP Response filter to rename it (it will probably break after an update, since it needs to be confined to one file).

Code: Select all

[["asset.chase.com",["/host-app\\/latest\\/2138/",["/#s/g","#u"]]]]

This is probably Issue #2756 (UXP)
