Crashing when loading google calendar page https://calendar.google.com/calendar/u/0/r

Sadly there is no console output i can copy/paste because palemoon crashes towards the end of loading the page.

I'm running Windows 11, Palemoon 34.0.1 and trying this in a completely blank profile. I suspect it's something specific about the calendar otherwise you'd have heard a lot of complaints!

I'm not sure where to find information about a crash like that, but if you provide me some pointers, I'll do my best.

Are there any applications for offline calendars which install on Windows 11 so you do not need internet access and subsequently a browser? I'm asking since many linux distros which are Ubuntu and Debian based, offer offline calendar applications for installation for their distro users so peole like me never run into any calendar problems which you are experiencing.

If there are any offline calendar applications for Windows 11, could you use one of them as a substitute?

I can verify this. Pale Moon 34.0.1 64-bit (GTK3) with a new clean profile on Kubuntu 24.04 LTS crashed when trying to access Google Calendar. The only message in the terminal was:

Offline isn't really a goer as I also need look at several shared calendars. I can look at the calendar in firefox but I want to be able to look at it in palemoon!

This offset does look very familiar though, so if it is what I think it is, then it should be fixed in the upcoming release.

The only need I have had for a calendar is to remind myself when holidays fall. (Foreigners should note that, by law, German supermarkets and other shops must close on Sundays and legal holidays, and each state is permitted to determine its own holidays. This makes knowing their timing important when planning when to buy food, to prevent shortfalls. Going out is involved for me due to disability.) Buying a €1 (or now, €1·50) card with holidays printed in red once a year meets my needs, and gives me week numbers and lunar phases as a bonus.

Quite possibly. One similarity between my calendar and thosrtanner's is that we are both looking at several shared calendars. Maybe a simpler single calendar won't trigger the crash.

I'm hoping that Moonchild is on target here and this crash is fixed with the upcoming release.

Hm. Well, I'm not entirely sure then. If someone on Windows can reproduce the crash (I still can't) and can capture a minidump, that would be very helpful.

I'd probably have to generate another crash. i just realised i did the wrong dump command (without the -ma) and produced an actual minidump which is only 700k, but i can send that if it'd be more useful than the above.

A minidump should give plenty more info, even if it is a small one. The pasted callstack isn't much help as it just points to an access violation but isn't providing relevant context.

As far as having credentials in the crash dump, you shouldn't worry. I treat all dumps confidential and they are deleted the moment they are no longer necessary.
