- Open the site and click the user menu at the top right and select Sign in/join.
- Nothing happens, and you can't click on anything else on the page anymore. The login appears as a modal popup over the page if you run it in another browser (Floorp in my case) but it stays invisible here and so you can't click on anything else under it.

Tested on a fresh profile, nothing shows up in the console.

This is one of those cases where the dialog shows up at the bottom of the page.

The search field also show up at the bottom of the page. I thought for the longest that it was just another broken and badly coded site when it first happened. At least it's workable.

Shows up in the center as expected if you open it on Floorp (and probably the Firefox that it's based on as well)

Re: isthereanydeal.com: invisible modal on clicking the sign in/join menu option
They aren't using the html element modal property, and also don't provide any positioning CSS to position it at the top of the page. As a result, the dialog is positioned at the bottom of the page in-line with the rest of the content (hit the "end" key to jump to it) - it displays fine, just below the fold as a result. Far as I can tell, "assuming" any <dialog> must be out-of-flow isn't specced, so it's a valid interpretation of the site code?
