YouTube removes comments created with Pale Moon (2025 edition)

YouTube is back at it again; insta-deleting comments I make while logged in and using Pale Moon.
Things had been behaving quite well in this regard for years, but here we are again.

Sounds like a google thing to do.

I don't know if you will get anywhere reporting that issue to them. It's worth a try, but I wouldn't hold my breath sadly...

I almost never comment on youtube, but having done so a few days ago, and then seeing this thread, I went back to look. Yes, my comment is gone.

I often comment on YT vids, and most of my comments also stick. Whenever they don't, I've either tried posting a link (that's a YT no no apparently), or some "forbidden word" (whatever that is at the moment). There's also the chance that the upload channel itself may not allow comments through.

That happened to me in the past, years ago (their horrible AI censorship system). Doesn't happen anymore, cannot remember the last time it happened recently. I use Pale Moon practically 98% of the time, and comment on YT using PM pretty much exclusively.

It's less to do with PM, and more with Google's AI cansor bots believing (wrongly) that you are a bad guy who makes bad comments.
