Another Protonmail issue, spotted as of Nov. 13th.

I hope this report amounts to something, because this issue just ruined 90 minutes of my life by forcing me to divert my attention to something that I'd rather not have dealt with tonight. I tried to access proton.me with Pale Moon current (=v33.9.1). Connection times out for Pale moon, Error console gives nothing. I never reach the main page of the service. Tried Librewolf, immediate access granted. Private mode and new, sparkly clean profile for both browsers for the purposes of testing. OS = Puppy Linux Bookworm 10.0.12 (built from Debian packages, thus binary compatible). Ad blockers disabled, so no interference from those.

Tried step 2: I eliminate the middle man and jump directly to "https://account.proton.me/login" to access the login page directly, access granted. I sign in and am able to access my mail box with Pale Moon. I try to verify a Discord login link. I right-click it and open the link to a separate tab. Link will not verify, the time out issue repeats itself again. I never reach the page that confirms my Discord login verification. Since I was able to reach my mail box by hopping straight to the login page, I was able to make the Error console give me this:

Librewolf 144 never fails at any step. The biggest issue here was that I was unable to verify my Discord login link with just Pale Moon alone, and needed Librewolf to assist.

So the short of it: Certain parts of the Protonmail service time out for Pale Moon, but not for other browsers. Most notably the main page.

EDIT: Spotted more. If I successfully sign in after 1st going directly trough the login link, the main page then becomes available by clicking the company logo on the upper left. But typing the URL manually by hand still gave me the time out from a fresh, no previous cookies-state.

Sounds like to me that problem is with discord. I use Protonmail and have no issues with it.

Judging by the errors it seems like you're having an overly-strict set of rules due to either preferences settings or extensions.
