Twitch refuses logging in - browser not supported
Greetings. For some time, when I try to log in on twitch.tv, I get a reply on the page that my browser is not supported, and thus no logging in for me in my alternative browser.
Anyone know a workaround for this perhaps?
(Videos seem to play without issue (besides trash performance, usual of twitch) without logging in by the way.)

Re: Twitch refuses logging in - browser not supported
Why do you types ignore the troubleshooting information template when posting and act as though PM developers are mind readers to diagnose it from your 2 line description?
"One hosts to look them up, one DNS to find them and in the darkness BIND them."

Re: Twitch refuses logging in - browser not supported
I did ignore the template because I was thinking that this is not defective behaviour, but Twitch only accepting the mainstream browsers.
I was hoping to get a tip at a workaround for this, or at least get to know if other people do not have the same happening to them, and there is a problem on my end.
Also, the template says to include any relevant information, and I did not think there was any for the aforementioned reason, also did not hope to even be able to determine what could be relevant.
And lastly I could not phatom that anyone could have use of the template text on its own - so I removed it all for now.
Sorry if I presumed incorrectly, that this is the normal behaviour in Pale Moon on that site as of now. By the way:
Browser: Pale Moon 33.9.0.1 64bit SSE version.
OS: Windows 7 64bit
No addons enabled, new private window.
Update - see error console output below:
All media formats except AV1 were enabled, with that enabled and browser restarted, the line about no codec was not in the Error Console, but the login is still the same failure, and videos were playing already without AV1 enabled.
Here is what I omitted, and the asked code - all from the Developer Web Console as I don't know what is relevant from there, and lines from the Error Consoler, where I could not find a way to select all, and tried to the more unique instances of the messages.
The template text
Error Console output after login refusal:

There is a link to see the supported browsers by the way, which brings up a blank page. If it is of interest here is the same on that page:

Re: Twitch refuses logging in - browser not supported
The template asks for both your browser troubleshooting information complete with instructions on how to find it, as well as whatever console errors showed up for the website. For best results, you should keep a separate unmodified profile for testing sites to rule out any problems due to your extensions or changed preferences (open about:profiles in a new tab, create a new profile from there, launch it in a separate window and run your website there to see if it works. A private window isn't the same thing)
Sometimes it's the website using an unsupported API. Sometimes it's an extension or setting that causes the problem. But without the requested info no one can help.

Re: Twitch refuses logging in - browser not supported
Again, I did not ask for any debugging. In my experience Twitch just straight out refuses to accept this browser.
- I just at least reported that this is the case.
- I asked if someone knows how to work around this - for example someone who has experience in changing browser identification that these sites might sniff out.
- Alternatively, I was hoping to get feedback, that it it not a problem for others. If That was the case, Then it might have been time to go into debugging...
Am I in the wrong topic category? Isn't "Web Compatibility Support" not where it is supposed to be discussed when a site doesn't support Pale Moon?
And the template is misleading if by including any "relevant" information, you mean dump everything if you think nothing is relevant or can not determine.
And I tried a freshly downloaded, freshly installed, freshly started most recent Pale Moon portable, and the behaviour is exactly the same - in my mind, another proof that my addons are irrelevant.
But I might be clueless about this just as much as I am about the topic category, and the meaning of relevant...

Re: Twitch refuses logging in - browser not supported
I'm not entirely sure why twitch.tv is arbitrarily refusing log ins from Pale Moon now. Never an issue before (even 2FA worked fine). My current browser session is logged in* and the site works just fine, so this is explicitly a check against Pale Moon and arbitrarily discriminating against us. If you are a twitch user, I'd make a fuss about this with Twitch. I'll file a ticket myself with them, as well.
*actually... it was logged in until I tried logging in from a portable to test and that failed attempt logged all my other Pale Moon (but not Edge) sessions out... WTF

Re: Twitch refuses logging in - browser not supported
This is for moonbat and anyone who is interested in the Troubleshooting Info.
Wait something just rang a bell. Isn't this template you are talking about the text that gets filled in automatically when you begin posting a new topic here? Which I quoted fist in my first reply, and the content of which is included in the red text above.
That one isn't asking for the Troubleshooting Information, and has no instructions at all how you find and include the console outputs which it actually mentions.
The bell was about me remembering that in the past I did include Troubleshooting Information with a topic about error, but I can't find reference to that now. (Maybe it was from someone's post at that time too.)
In any case here is the Troubleshooting Information from the system that the console outputs are from:
And from the fresh portable version I mentioned last, just in case...:

Re: Twitch refuses logging in - browser not supported
@Moonchild
Yes where I was logged in, surprisingly it did not matter for me too.
When I read your experience just now, it scared me, that I might have been logged out too where I was before, but checking just now, it looks like I am still in... Who knows for how long though of course. Looks like my experiment with the portable version did not disrupt my very old, closest to main instance of Pale Moon.
By the way the text that is missing on the blank support page about supported browsers:
(Remark for support ticket: for me even account verification is not working for some reason (tried other browsers too iirc), so doubtful if I can even post ticket at all, but it will have to be seen of course...)
Edit2: since as it can be seen from above, Pale Moon is nowhere in the supported browser list, I doubt a support ticket would be fruitful anyway...
(Edit3: If they go the extra mile to log out all the other sessions when they catch you trying to log in on the browser they don't like, that seems another level of "diabolical" ): )

Edit: when I was explicitly testing in the portable version, I did not use my real account for that. Maybe that is why I got spared from logging out.Supported Browsers
The desktop web browser experience of twitch.tv and supporting sites officially support:
The two latest versions of Google Chrome
The two latest versions of Mozilla Firefox
The most recent version of Microsoft Edge
The most recent version of Apple Safari
The most recent version of Opera and Opera GX
(Remark for support ticket: for me even account verification is not working for some reason (tried other browsers too iirc), so doubtful if I can even post ticket at all, but it will have to be seen of course...)

Re: Twitch refuses logging in - browser not supported
I tried in Basilisk and got a 5xxx error (unsupported browser); in Firefox it gave a 1xxx error (unknown user); copied that as cURL, also got the 5xxx error. There's curl-impersonate, but without a Windows release I didn't try it.
