This issue with Pale Moon using the Yahoo finance website has been a persistent issue for well over 6 months (same yahoo website works seamlessly in all other [7] browsers tested). I've been hoping the issue would eventually get resolved over time with a browser update at some point.

Note: it may be necessary (although I don't actually think so) to have "holding" ticker quotes saved (i.e. "added") on the website to get the errors to occur as described above (this can be accomplished by simply adding a random ticker Symbol to the "Holding" listing on the right-side of the page under "Quotes").

One time I got this dialog (in case this helps) that I responded by clicking on the 'cancel' button (not knowing what this is about):
I also got this one time - which I 'cancelled'.png

There are some websites I've just had to give up using Pale Moon on. Yahoo! is one of them. Everything might work eventually, but it takes forever for stuff to load. This is the kind of thing that a Chromium browser is needed for.

Yea, you have a point sorry to say :( - but I wouldn't say "Chromium" browsers are the answer necessarily, as I've used Gecko (FF) forked browsers that do work well without a hitch on Yahoo websites (including the specific website discussed in this topic) as well as other sites that Pale Moon tends to have difficulties with...
Off-topic:
...Perhaps it might be more accurate to say some websites are simply going to be challenging when used by Goanna browser engines (of which I've ultimately had to give up using this type engine as a "default" browser some months ago in as much as in general a "default" browser needs to be able to intrinsically load clicked on links with minimal issues.) That said, "Gecko" based browsers are increasingly less common place (of which I'd prefer to use over the far more ubiquitous "Chromium" based browsers, that I personally go out of my way to shun as much as possible) - the Ghostery, FF forked, browser was a really good one, but wouldn't you know it - that browser has been recently depreciated, so is another one no longer supported.

I still really do like Pale Moon and use it occasionally as there's a lot to uniquely like about it (and as such will check-out known issue websites whenever PM updates get released - in the hope that "known issue websites" eventually get resolved, ultimately leading to Pale Moon becoming my primary browser once again ).
