mail.proton.me TransformStream error Topic is solved

Well, either Proton has made another PM breaking change or something in 33.8 broke this.
No errors in Error Console. But PM became so slow to respond I had to restart it.
Occurs after login so need an account to see the problem.

Tried older PM versions with clean portable profiles:
33.6 hung after clicking sign-in
33.7.2 still has the TransformStream error (got past selecting mail vs calendar, which may be same as 33.8 - don't recall)

Pale Moon 33.7.2 here - I'm getting the same thing and Proton Mail was working just fine yesterday.

I suspect this is something on Proton Mail's end, I'm afraid, but I'm gonna have to get logged in on a different browser before I can confirm or raise a support ticket.

Same here.

But it's completely on their end, as I just checked my proton mail at 12:51 today, and now at 16:06 it's not working.

Seems they've done this before too: viewtopic.php?f=70&t=32085 , and fixed it as well. They're pretty responsive.

Whelp, I can confirm that LibreWolf is working with Proton Mail, thank the Lord.

I've now raised a support ticket, so, hopefully, this will get fixed quickly.

But I would advise that everyone using Proton Mail take the time to raise their own tickets. The more we can show Proton Mail that Pale Moon is our browser of choice, the more likely they are to support it (I hope).

I am still using PM 33.7.1 (64) and I also have this issue...Proton did something bad very recently (overnight?)
Luckily with Vivaldi it works, and I believe is an older version. Crazy
Edit: Update; Just got this email from Proton mail:

Yesterday I got the same 'update of inbox options' notification from Proton. I checked it and it looked like a mess, so I went back to the original inbox with no problems. This morning, after an overnight system restart, login is impossible using Pale Moon, even after trying Safe Mode. This is the message I received:
"Something went wrong
We couldn't load this page. Please refresh the page or check your internet connection.
Error: TransformStream is not defined"

Meanwhile, using Pale Moon, I am able to open my Proton Calendar with no problems, which means that I'm being logged into my account, but email is not accessible. Both email & calendar open fine using my fallback Brave browser. It just occurred to me that Pale Moon also had a 'major development, bugfix and security release' (v33.8.0) within the same time frame, so I'm not convinced that this is all happening due to changes on the Proton side.

Hopefully this will all get sorted out soon!

It is all on proton's side. I was still on 33.7.2 (waiting for Nuck-TH's SSE2 version) when it started happening to me.

Thanks for clarifying that point. Anyway, I just checked Protonmail and my login was SUCCESSFUL! So it looks like this issue is resolved. Many thanks to all involved!
