UPS.com fails to provide tracking
I type ups.com in the address bar and hit Enter. The site redirects to https://www.ups.com/us/en/home
I am trying to see tracking for number 1Z5840070361890752
For years, tracking worked on this site in Pale Moon by using eMatrix to only allow 1st-party content. Recently, I am redirected to an "Access Denied" page after entering the tracking number. I suspect this is a result of a change in the site. If I allow all in eMatrix, I get a white screen. Tracking number entry works fine in Firefox 115.
I got the same failure on Pale Moon 33.7.1 and 33.7.2. My PC is on x64 Windows 8.1.

Re: UPS.com fails to provide tracking
Something does seemed to have changed on the UPS site, but it still worked for me (using your tracking number). I use uBlock Origin in Pale Moon, and all that is allowed through is ups.com and omtrdc.net. Everything else is blocked.

Re: UPS.com fails to provide tracking
I disabled eMatrix, enabled uBlock Origin 1.16.6.0 from UCyborg with the default filter list, and disabled all but ups.com and omtrdc.net. Got the same white page after dismissing the cookies warning.
What OS are you on?

I cannot reach the UPS website at all. Not even the Tracking Page with your link. All I get is the same white page you are getting with the page saying I do not have access to the server's site.
At the time of this post, I am running 64 bit linux Pale Moon 33.7.2 (GTK2) running in 64 bit linux Debian 12.11 (Bookworm) Xfce. I do have uBlock Origin 1.16.6.0 and whether UBO is enabled or not enabled, I still cannot reach the page.
All I get is the following prompt below.
But I can reach the UPS tracking page with the link below without any problems and your tracking number does work using 64 bit linux Firefox 128.12.0 ESR also running in 64 bit linux Debian with uBlock Origin (1.64.0).

If you have another browser besides Pale Moon, see if you can reach the UPS tracking page with the link above.

Re: UPS.com fails to provide tracking
A little update.
I am now in 64 bit linux Pale Moon 33.7.2 (GTK2) running on my 64 bit MX Linux 23.6 (Libretto) Xfce SSD using the same uBlock Origin 1.16.6.0 and I am still being denied access to the UPS site.
Since I can access the UPS site using 64 bit linux Firefox 140.0.1 on this SSD, I can also access the UPS site using 64 bit linux Waterfox 6.5.10 also.

Re: UPS.com fails to provide tracking
As I noted in my first post, something did change with the site. I do get that blank white screen for about a second or two before the tracking info appears. So I went into the error console and console and got the following:
Maybe the OP or Night Wing needs to post this info since they don't get the tracking info at all??

Re: UPS.com fails to provide tracking
I received a package from UPS on Friday. I opened the email from the sender and clicked on the tracking number. Don't know the exact UPS URL I was taken to, but it was some bizarre graphics for a few seconds, then the page loaded fine, and the tracking info was there. Now, if I go to www.ups.com it takes me to the site the OP gave, and it shows 4 boxes of stuff I can do, none of it simply tracking a number/package. The whole process works with no problem in a Chromium-based browser.

Track Package by Reality Ripple still works (if you allow just the one 3rd party site ron_1 mentioned). I prefer that to clicking links in email.

Uh oh! Something went wrong with the previous request.

Re: UPS.com fails to provide tracking
I too don't like to click on tracking links in emails. I don't see any instructions on how to use the Reality Ripple add-on. If I copy to the clipboard the tracking number in an email, how would I get the add-on in PM to track the package using the string in the clipboard?Michaell wrote: ↑2025-06-30, 11:19Track Package by Reality Ripple still works (if you allow just the one 3rd party site ron_1 mentioned). Does ups.com work with Pale Moon 33.8.0?

@ Garland
Linux Pale Moon 33.8.0 does not work for me either. If I have to track a UPS package, I just use linux Waterfox or linux Firefox and they both work for me.

Re: UPS.com fails to provide tracking
Tracking at ups.com now works for me with Pale Moon 33.8.0. I don't know whether a change in the site fixed it or the PM upgrade. I am still using eMatrix to only allow 1st-party content.
It also works with Track Package. Thank you @Michaell for the helpful add-on.
