Soundcloud.com some tracks not playing

Hello!

Some tracks won't play in Pale Moon, but in MS Edge (both Linux).

I don't see console errors.

Can others confirm this?

Thanks for providing the clickable link. I played ten tracks of "music" from various music artists. No problems at all.

At this time I am using 64 bit linux Pale Moon 33.6.0.1 (GTK2) running in 64 bit linux Mint 22.1 (Xia) Xfce. I also had uBlock Origin 1.16.6b1 enabled for the site.

Were you able to play the track I mentioned?
The play button greys out and then the next track is being played.

On the right side appears a banner "There was a problem playing this track.".

Works here too, using 64-bit Pale Moon 33.6.0.1 on Windows 10. With a hardened profile (using uBO, eMatrix (allowing sndcdn), deCDN, Pure URL, and About:config changes).

If you mean did I listen to the Paralizer - Move Your Body? Yes I did. All 5:36 of time. From start to the..................."bitter end". Never saw any banner anywhere.

You and I have very, VERY "different" tastes in "music".

BTW, see if you can play one of my favorite artists which has some instrumental music on Soundcloud without any problems.

After seeing the others Off-Topic comments, I'll back you up on your music taste. I love EDM. Trance, NightCore, Instrumental Hardbass. It's all good. Then again, I like most everything except pop ballads, rap, and such. I need a beat, rythm, melody.

Hard agree. I think that when a style of music is rubbished and dismissed it tends to reflect a lack of understanding about the music's history and culture. Of course, everyone is free to dislike particular types of music, but that opinion doesn't make it noise, or whatever.

I can listen to https://soundcloud.com/mdandalive/paralizer-move-your-body with Pale Moon 33.6.0.1 on Windows with uBlock Origin installed and set with default options. No other privacy or "tricky" add-ons installed.

Oh don't get me wrong, I love trance/goa/acid/etc. EDM (you should see my CD collection...), just not this more minimalistic high-BPM distorted "gabber" style.

Really strange, it works on a Slackware virtual machine with the same AVX2 build I use on my main Debian machine.

I will try to track that down further, but I assume it is not a PM issue.
