YouTube videos freezing video while audio plays normally (or just freezing completely)

Found another one, or at least got unlucky with it. This is the first one I've found since the update where the issues kept recurring throughout the video. Before this I've been able to move past the timestamp and continue.

This one has AV1 stream too, in 60 fps.

I don't think it's useful at this point to keep reporting problematic ones here. We've done what we could and as my previous post shows it's even broken in Edge, which is Chromium-based, so it'd affect everyone regardless. You may want to report playback issues to youtube instead (for what good it does...)

Yah, I've been meaning to report that things are ~98% better since the update(s). I'm happily YouTubing with Pale Moon again since then with vanishingly few issues.

That's fair, and it really has been so much better since the update. I was surprised to hear that you hit the same issue in Edge, because that's what I've been continuing any videos that had a problem in PM and I haven't seen it happen there yet.

It seems to be a lot more rare. the ~98% figure quoted above seems about right.
