So, question: have you actually contacted the website owners and reported this issue? Because if not, then any discussion about whether you want to work around it or not is irrelevant -- most webmasters will not be aware of Pale Moon or the issue there is, as a result, if not reported.
Let me play "Devil's Advocate" a second time.
The Chrome browser came into being, took off in popularity and quickly gained a lot of market share. Microsoft had the Edge browser, but it wasn't based on the same engine Chrome is based on. Even Microsoft had to change their engine for Edge to something similar to Chrome so Edge wouldn't be "left out in the cold" if you get my drift.
The webmaster's I have contacted in the past, most will only test for Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. They do not want to test for a niche browser like Pale Moon. Their "stock" answer is to use a "modern" browser like the four I just stated in the previous sentence. Too much of a hassle is their thinking. While a few didn't even reply to me. In essence, they gave me the "brush off".
So if I really do not need that site because there are alternative sites, I go with the alternative sites. But if there is a site I do need and does not want to play well with Pale Moon, then I am "forced" to use a second browser. In other words, I have to "hold my nose and bite the bullet" as they say.
I use three different linux distros. They are MX Linux, Linux Mint and Debian. All three have Firefox as their installed default browser. But I do not use Firefox. I add Pale Moon, then Waterfox and finally, SeaLion. So Waterfox is my backup browser to Pale Moon when I have a site that I "need, like and want" because Pale Moon has trouble on those sites.
To sum up for this topic. The site in question does not meet my "need's, like's and want's" so I give them the hard line because they've earned the hard line and I never visit that site again because there are alternative sites.
