I cannot anymore login to my user account on Thomann's (the music shop) site (
https://www.thomann.de/gb/index.htm...L ... 9&reload=1).
After I have input my account name and password, the 'checking that you are a human' with a rolling arrow just keeps going eternally...
I get only this warning when I open the site itself, but nothing when try to log:
Code: Select all
Warning: Content Security Policy: Ignoring ‘x-frame-options’ because of ‘frame-ancestors’ directive.
I'm using the Sealion 33.0.0 (32-bit PPC Linux). Also 'Palemoon 32.1.0' shows the same issue. I already disabled the 'AddBlock Latitude' for that site, but it did not help.

Unfortunately it's difficult for us to check if it requires an account. The message in your console is of no consequence for this as it's just an informational warning about the content security policy (which should actually be removed/disabled as it seems this behavior is now officially accepted as normal fallback) and there is no other information about why the captcha doesn't like the browser.
Try in a new profile and/or private browsing window - some captcha providers can get iffy about cookie/session states.

Thanks for your answer! I tested with a new profile, and with a private browsing window but there was no change. The 'Friendly-Captcha' company which is used by Thomann could probably give some help, but I suppose they are not willing to help endusers.
Would it help if you could try to login to the site?

I think it would at least serve to contact the captcha provider. It should be their priority to serve all legitimate browsers out there successfully or it will fail at its job.

It seems to be impossible to contact them, unless you first create a payable account! Besides, their Captcha naturally prevents PPC browsers from doing that... Dead end.

Oh how I wish people would still just post e-mail addresses to get in touch... It
can be done without spambots scraping it, y'know.

I hate to be one of those guys, but I had no trouble logging in (first time in a number of years, since I bought my Tele). I'm on Windows 10 and using uBlock Origin and Pale Moon 33.0.0 64 bit.

In that case it may be the captcha software not understanding PPC is a real thing, specifically.

Could a user-agent override fix it? Assuming the user-agent advertises itself as PPC Linux and the captcha chokes on that.

Possibly!

How to formulate it correctly...? I tested this:
general.useragent.override.thomann.de;Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:68.9) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/68.9
But that did not work... Any suggestions? How to check that the override is really in use?

This site (thomann.de) works fine for me with PM default configuration.
Additionally, you can check the captcha here. This works for me too.

The Captcha behind that link does not work for me, either.
Which hardware and OS are you using?

Ok, that confirms the issue is indeed hw or/and OS dependent.
Is there anyone here who could test this on a PowerMac, both with Linux and MacOS?

Try UA override for "friendlycaptcha.com".
