jiggie.fun: requestSubmit is not a function

Unread post by vannilla » 2023-12-22, 10:06

I got invited into a room on https://jiggie.fun; it's a website to do custom jigsaws with people.
When I tried to join the room I got this error:

Code: Select all

TypeError: o.requestSubmit is not a function
I can't share the room I got invited in for reasons; I haven't checked if you can create rooms or if it's just joining them.

Looks like Mozilla implemented it here. This is not the only problem we're having with HTML forms, by the way... this is touching the exact same code as several other bugs we are working on.

The scope of that issue ballooned out of control rather quickly. It seems we need to rework the way forms are done quite a bit... more than we've ever worked on them before.
"The Athenians, however, represent the unity of these opposites; in them, mind or spirit has emerged from the Theban subjectivity without losing itself in the Spartan objectivity of ethical life. With the Athenians, the rights of the State and of the individual found as perfect a union as was possible at all at the level of the Greek spirit." -- Hegel's philosophy of Mind
