The given link works for me after allowing scripts from static.whatsapp.net, maybe post your troubleshooting info to see what could be the problem?

Confirmed.
It works if you set the User Agent Mode to Native.

Gecko compatibility (which I've been running lately with few ill effect) also works.
I guess another SSUAO is required.

im sorry, i did some further testing with new profile.

new profile with firefox compatibility user agent mode has same error.
changing to native user agent mode fixes the issue, thanks!

however, something even weirder is happening, my ublock origin doesn't even see the domains for fbcdn.net and whatsapp.net even exist on that page??

what the heck...

I'm not well-versed in UbO... but if you already block all third party content, doesn't that prevent external domains from being listed?

ok im not sure what is going on, fbcdn.net and whatsapp.net are showing up now properly for me to noop in ubo
might have been related to decentraleye's "block requests for missing resources" option.

i have no idea why that option is related to this, i dont recall even messing with it.
consider this resolved when set the User Agent Mode to Native.

thanks.
