theepochtimes.com displays as blank Topic is solved

theepochtimes.com (redirects to https://www.theepochtimes.com/) displays as blank. Sometimes I see the page display for a split second before going blank.

I am using Pale Moon 32.4.0.1 64-bit on Windows 8.1. I had the same problem in Pale Moon 32.3.1.

Had the same problem, but fixed it by blocking 5 scripts using eMatrix (there are only 5 js for www.theepochtimes.com) blocked them all
and now all is back to normal.

You're welcome, However, I forgot to mention the videos would still not play, and as I really have no interest in the videos I have had no reason to look into that (though I might at some point out of curiosity. IF I can remember to)

I have to blame Epoch times, and contact them when I get a chance/remember to, And bitch at them for changing whatever it was that previously worked when using Pale Moon.

May I also suggest using UBO as well, from my experience they work great together, tested separately and together using several sites I normally visited, and both installed and running performed/rendered Many more than either one separately.

The videos on the theepochtimes.com don't interest me either, so I didn't notice their non-functionality.

I have used uBlock Origin with Firefox for years. I have been using UBO and eMatrix together since I installed Pale Moon 2 months ago. I too find they work well together and have different strengths. I notice eMatrix can't see items blocked by UBO, so I conclude the latter is processed by Pale Moon first. The eMatrix Host files duplicate UBO's Filter lists in the Multipurpose category, so I only enable them in eMatrix so I can surgically disable items as needed. It doesn't matter - the extension is stable and does its job; it is the filter lists that determine its effectiveness not the extension itself. Likewise Pale Moon's extension support framework. Not like the ADHD addled trend of updates every other week that keep breaking features that has infected the whole software and even open source world.

I tested Pale Moon 32.5.0 today on theepochtimes.com. It works fine -- even without blocking scripts in eMatrix. Videos play too. Thanks to the Pale Moon team for the improved compatibility!
