I can no longer log in to Hacker News, it's never been a problem before recent updates. Unfortunately, I now have to use Firefox, login is normal with it.

Re: I can no longer log in to Hacker News
Completely reinstalled PM v32.0.1 win64, all files deleted incl. profile. It now works. The reason for the failure remains unknown, similarly, PM's error message.
PM was initially reinstalled from scratch some three months ago after a clean re-installation of Windows, that version was 31.2.0.1 win64 and it worked OK on HN login both with and without JS enabled. The only extensions were MozArchiver 2.0.1 and QuickJava 2.1.2. The HN login problem began with the update to v32. The update was initiated from within PM—not the separate download.
There are no known issues with Windows.

Did you happen to use NoScript to have JS disabled?
