https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/

Just recently this site has not only stopped working with PM, in the last day or so it won't even allow any input.

Not that fussed as I found another option https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/

But just wondered if anyone had any thoughts on why sites suddenly reject PM

Not working for me either in 31.3.1. Compared against FF, it looks like all the "<link rel="preload" ...>" tags in <head> are not loading

There are no "<link rel="preload" ...>" tags in the <head> that I see. However it does try to use "dynamic imports"

This is what I have on my end. These might be the dynamic imports you speak of, I'm not entirely sure. I assume that's probably what the chunks are

I can suggest an interim replacement I have been using for decades, and works perfectly in Pale Moon (this site has always worked in any browser I have used)
https://downdetector.com/

You're likely going to have that problem with any such service as they will be ad-supported, and the service by its nature will need to run globally diverse access points to do a proper job which will cost money.

https://downdetector.com/
I find that between the two https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/ (that works fine in Pale Moon) does a far better job finding websites in my opinion (https://downdetector.com/ will tend to come up with "Sorry, we couldn't find the company you were looking for..." too much of the time for me). Both sites can have problems: Take https://www.homedepot.com/, it happens that https://downdetector.com can't "find the company..." and while at least https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/ can find the company, their (erroneous) results are "Homedepot.com is DOWN for everyone." that includes the alert banner "Down Forever? The site has been unreachable for more than 170 days. If the site is live or if you have further information about the site status, please comment below..." - which is a site I've used for years including today. So while https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/ is way off on its results for this site, it's still better than not finding the website at all (especially when a website is such a very large and well established company like https://www.homedepot.com/ which should at the very least be found.

Another example: take the site https://www.esumsoft.com/, it happens that https://downdetector.com/ cannot find the site as contrasted to https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/ that can and reports accurately that the site is up (this occurs far too much of the time in my opinion, comparing the two).

Or take this very interesting example (as far as reporting accuracy is concerned): In regards to the https://accounts.spotify.com/en/login website, we find that https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/ more accurately reports "Access to Spotify.com is declined -- The server doesn't allow access to the page..." as compared to https://downdetector.com/ that reports "User reports indicate problems at Spotify" which is not entirely accurate, the website is not having "problems" as I am able to use the site (but rather the former report appears to provide more accurate details).
