websdr.ewi.utwente.nl:8901 no sound, maybe WebAudio problem

Hello

no sound on http://websdr.ewi.utwente.nl:8901/ after I clicked "start audio". It also affects other SDRs like http://websdr.ewi.utwente.nl:8901/?tune=6130am

Yesterday it worked and today PM was updated to 31.3.0 (via steve's Repo on Ubuntu 22.04).
There are no console messages.

kind regards
P4User

EDIT:
It seems that audio in PM is completely broken, soundcloud, yewtu.be, all don't work.

I don't know what that website does, but I notice that SoundCloud and YouTube do work when the browser is first started up... but visiting that website actually breaks them.

That is to say, trying to visit that website actually breaks audio on Linux until you restart the browser.

It is software defined radio, you can listen to what is in the ether via a computer, often called WebSDR.

I can now confirm this.

It also seems to break the restart feature. If I select restart, it closes, but the process still exists and isn't responding.

I use the SDR at the university of Twente sometimes to listen to off-band transmitters in their range. It's a fun use of spare time.
It works in Pale Moon just fine, at least on Windows. I verified just now it's still OK. *rocks to "born to be wild" from a radio station marked as chinese but very unlikely*
We've had the occasional issue before with it but there hasn't been an issue recently, nor have we changed the surrounding code recently in any major way that would cause this.
You should probably look into whether you are having the correct libraries installed like Pulseudio, ffmpeg, etc. especially if other audio playback doesn't work.

Both are there, other websites work until I access Websdr Twente, then other tabs stop playing sound.

That's because palemoon seems to have crashed---just "killall palemoon" in a terminal.

31.3.1 doesn't have this problem anymore.

Thanks for fixing it, whoever did it.
