flightradar24.com - No map

Unread post by Ron_S » 2022-05-16, 08:52

Howdy,

Since a couple months ago Flightradar24 hasn't shown a map or aircraft. The menu shows at the top though.
Same results in Basilisk, but Librewolf works fine.

I did search and came up with the following link, it appears to have happened to someone else at least once but I'm not sure if I'm having the same problem?
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=9692

Edit - PM31 plus 1 or 2 versions prior.
Edit 2 - I also tried it with a new unmolested profile.

Win10 64 AMD Ryzen 7 laptop.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

I can confirm there is no map and hasn't been for some time.

I had to use FlightRadar24 yesterday since my brother and sister in law flew to Anchorage, Alaska from Dallas, Texas. Since Pale Moon does not render FR24 correctly; for whatever reason, I used my backup browser, Waterfox, to show where they were in the air periodically during their long flight.

Ah ... I don't use it often and just for curiosity, but a couple of days ahgo I noticed there were no maps, but I assumed it has become a subscriber-only service ana looked for alternatives, there is a list in https://radarspotting.com/forum/ under "Aircraft Tracking Websites".
Noew you say it is a browser compatibility issue ?

RegExp issues. We don't support the ? element yet.
Debian 12 Bookworm - KDE Plasma 5.27
Intel Celeron N5100 - 4 gigs of RAM - 256 gigs of SSD

I can barely speak english, so bear that in mind when talking to me

I think the problem is not with regex, is with the ?? operator. ((e,n)=>t[n]??"")

I can also confirm that it isn't working - just black, on PM 29.4.4 Win 7. Not sure how long it's been like that though, since I don't use it very often. However, Plane Finder works OK https://planefinder.net/

Thanks for the link to Plane Finder. This site works in Pale Moon.

I'll have to check this site out when my brother and sister fly back to their home in San Antonio, Texas from Anchorage, Alaska 10 days from now. In other words, I'll see if I can "stalk their return flight" when they are in the air. ;)

That is good news about 31.1 and FR24. I use Flightradar 24 quite a lot. Nice to have Planefinder as a backup to it. Looking forward to 31.1's public release.

I can also confirm this is now solved with 31.1.0.
I'm not sure how to put the 'solved' tick in the subject - Never mind just worked it out...
