gettr.com sniffs Pale Moon as Internet Explorer

Unread post by Charles » 2022-01-03, 15:45

I'm running Pale Moon 29.4.3 64 bit on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

Under Pale Moon, in safe mode, the website https://www.gettr.com/user/joerogan responds:
"Internet Explorer is not supported. Our site works best with Chrome."

The same link works under Firefox 92.0.1

I'm guessing this is gettr mis-sniffing Pale Moon.

Is there a config setting I could change to get around this?

Thanks very much for any advice.

Please next time use the Toolkit Error Console or the Developer Tools Web Console as instructed and afterwards the search function of the forum.

Code: Select all

SyntaxError: expected expression, got keyword 'import'

My oversight. I apologize. Won't happen again; shouldn't have happened once :-/
