MSN + customElements = blank pages

Unread post by njren » 2021-11-29, 19:15

Much of the content on the MSN.com site now yields blank pages whenever clicking on a story. Pale Moon 29.4.2.1 x64 on Windows.

Code: Select all

ReferenceError: customElements is not defined[Learn More] microsoft.5e6c8dda86882549cce8.js:2153:1

SyntaxError: invalid identity escape in regular expression common.555d07ca579ec1e20a62.js:5750:228254
The customElements issue has been there a while now and I believe coincided with a redesign that opened a lot of content to reader comments. The SyntaxError I started seeing today.

I didn't see the site catalogued here yet, and I understand the issues are known ad nauseum, so just a heads up for anyone else coming to report.
