Re: Wouldn't load search link.
Why do you think a redirect not working would be a browser problem?... That's basic stuff for any browser.
FTR it works fine on this end.

Works here, maybe it is a fault of your browser, try again with w new profile, you can keep your old one and use the new one only for testing.

Re: Wouldn't load search link.
I had sporadic issues with DuckDuckGo myself related to opening search results. I haven't investigated if it's exactly the same issues (especially since the OP isn't exactly clear in what they mean with "Wouldnt load" ), but it seems to be related (and it's the same site.)
The link provided in the OP works (the redirect is followed), but when clicked from the search result page (i.e. on the DDG site) sometimes it would fail to open the page.
It's most definitely a site issue, especially since refreshing the page makes things work again, but it might be useful to investigate it in one way or another.
I haven't found anything especially as it's rather random on when it happens and I'm not always ready to troubleshoot.

Re: Wouldn't load search link.
Yes, I have found all sorts of non-responsive issues on DDG going on a few months now. A refresh of two tends to get it working.
Quite odd, but I assume is on their end.
