Audible web player does not work
Audible.com web player does not work. Found out just recently, when I wanted to play Junkyard bargain (Faith Hunter) from browser. The webplayers interface is loaded, however no matter where I click, it does not respond at all.

Re: Audible web player does not work
Works great. Clicked on the previews on the front page since I obviously can't login. You'll have to unblock amazon domains in your adblocker.

Re: Audible web player does not work
Disabled adblock latitude on audible.com - still does not work/play.
Disabled adblock latitude on everywhere - still does not work/play.
Forbidden adblock latitude as an extension - still does not play.
And audible previews work fine.

Re: Audible web player does not work
After checking the error console, try it in a clean new profile.
Re: Audible web player does not work
That's not the same as trying in a clean profile (unless you deleted the old profile, simply reinstalling doesn't necessarily delete the old profile). And did you check the error console like Tobin recommended?
Re: Audible web player does not work
if it's a clean install of the portable as they said, then yes, it would be.

Re: Audible web player does not work
Yes, clean install. Downloaded portable, installed into folder, ran program in said folder, logged into audible, tried to play a book. No success.
Re: Audible web player does not work
The process of playing audiobook:
audible.com: logged in, section library, click on button: listen now. Small standalone window with audible webplayer loaded opens. On status line in bottom of window two lines of text interchange: "Sending request to fls-na.amazon.com" "Waiting for unagi.amazon.com" Clicking on play does not respond at all.
I have found this however (portable clean install):

No, don´t know where to find it.

Re: Audible web player does not work
So you pasted troubleshooting info even though it almost certainly doesn't have any barring on what might be going on and you didn't put it in a hide or code tag just to be obnoxious and also claim you can't find even ONE of the total of THREE consoles we have in Pale Moon?
Go away.
Go away.

Re: Audible web player does not work
I am sorry, I did not realize there is tag even though, I see now as I write this, I have it before my eyes. I am user, not programmer. The top of my skill is inserting an image using tags <img src="">. What I posted is described as a "technical info" under "help" menu. I have edited previous post and added hide tags.New Tobin Paradigm wrote: ↑2021-07-11, 03:28So you pasted troubleshooting info even though it almost certainly doesn't have any barring on what might be going on and you didn't put it in a hide or code tag just to be obnoxious and also claim you can't find even ONE of the total of THREE consoles we have in Pale Moon?

Next time, if you ask me to get you data of some hidden console, please, could you also describe a way to get there? Thank you.

From the menu bar, open the Tools Menu, and hover over the Web Developer item. You should see the error console there.

Re: Audible web player does not work
Curious that this hits you but not other people. I looked into this (weird that they host JS on Amazon's service for images - That's really not what that service is intended for!) and it seems it's because Audible wants to use their own defined events (which we support just fine) but creating those custom evens with a JS constructor (which is a relatively new spec change). We don't support that at the moment -- I think it's fairly simple to add, though.
Filed Issue #1792 (UXP), self-assigned and I think I can squeeze this in before our feature freeze for the next release, if I don't run into any weird stuff in Mozilla's code.

Using the link he provided at the top, I am able to get the "Illegal constructor" error on a fresh Pale Moon 29.2.1 Portable install.
