Presumably because the Mint update has not happened.
It isn't and has never been part of the official Mint repos, and Steve Pusser puts out builds on his repository within a day or two of the official release so what are you talking about?

Well thanks for the input but given the attitude of the people offering support I would rather use a different browser.
Staying on an unsupported version is entirely your choice, so don't go acting all sanctimonious about it.

Most of the responses sort of show why I left the development area of open source 15 years ago when I saw where it was going.
You mean when it was going the way where you'd still need to use your brain instead of handing everything on a silver platter with minimal requests because everything was dumbed down?

Seriously though... What did you expect from us when we are presented with:
  • A problem we can't reproduce
  • On a browser that is more than a year out of support
  • By a reporter who doesn't seem to understand straight-forward requests
  • Who then leaves in a huff scolding most of the people trying to help
You expect us to keep pulling teeth to try and help? ... [Morpheus] "You think that's air you're breathing now? Hm!"

FTR, people who don't use the software (or state their intention to just pack up and leave) are even LESS entitled to support than someone on an old and insecure version from a year ago.

So one might want to consider that when trying to use their usership as a bargaining tool to manipulate us.

Put simply, it doesn't work.

I don't think it's a bargaining tool, just a hissy fit.

There's plenty who try to use it that way. just like they try to use their $1/month donations to get preferential treatment or think they can make demands as if $12/year buys them my undivided developer time and attention. hey news flash: it doesn't. Look up normal developer wages in the western world.
