MeWe is gone for Pale Moon
Maybe an useragent will solve that?

https://mewe.com/ works for me.

Re: MeWe is gone for Pale Moon
No, looks like they screwed us over.
Not only does it forward you to the "modern browser" page, it will also log you out and invalidate your session in one go.
Judging by the pre-redirect look which looks very much like your typical Google framework placeholder thing, it's most likely wanting to use Google WebComponents. In which case we can't do anything about it.

Re: MeWe is gone for Pale Moon
I didn't log in (don't have an account), I thought the problem occurs also on the home page.

MeWe is gone for Pale Moon
Why is there an 'App' on the Home Page when the browser does not even support MeWe? Does this make any sense, whatsoever, Pale Moon?

Re: MeWe is gone for Pale Moon
You mean when MeWe has stopped being accessible? It was a recent change on their end - doesn't look like this will be addressed by them so you can expect the shortcut to be removed soon from the portal. i have to say I'm very disappointed in MeWe for going this route when they were overall good and lightweight and super-compatible with a wide range of browsers until now.

Re: MeWe is gone for Pale Moon (workaround)
FYI... I keep thinking I should use MeWe more (just because) and just tried on my Linux (Devuan) laptop and sure enough in the middle of loading the page, seemingly correctly, I got redirected... Chromium was fine... I copied my exact Chromium user agent as an override for mewe.com ... it loaded fine...

Maybe it can be added in the next release.

Re: MeWe is gone for Pale Moon
I've added it to the dynamic updates for now which should have a refresh within a day.
EDIT: if dynamic updates actually works, that is. It doesn't seem to o.O

Nothing personal at all; but I'm surprised you can get away with using Chromium 83 when the latest version out is 89. Note taken!

Re: MeWe is gone for Pale Moon
No, they are still blocking.
But, I've added a dynamic UA update so it will work without manually adding one yourself.

Hello. I am just reporting that that user agent override works for me too. I can now look at MeWe for the first time in at least a month.badnick wrote: ↑2021-04-07, 04:01It works, thanks!zombieman81 wrote: ↑2021-04-03, 14:16

It makes this forum look good that no one here has hijacked the thread to rant about the content and user base of MeWe.
