Cannot login to JSTOR

JSTOR is unusable with Pale Moon 29.1.0 and with the latest unstable version. For example, I cannot login to gain access to https://www.jstor.org/stable/2689339. I never see the login page nor the preview page. I do not see the login page when Pale Moon is re-started in safe mode with all extensions disabled.
