Regions Bank login
Regions Bank has updated its customer login process to a 2-step procedure. Since this change, Pale Moon fails to get to the 2nd login page.
Here you enter your login name:
https://login.regions.com
When I do this, instead of the next page asking for my password, I get this error message:
"We're sorry. Something went wrong.
The system is currently unavailable or the page you're looking for doesn't exist.
Please try again. If this problem persists, please visit Regions.com/help or visit your local Regions branch."
However, the procedure works on Chrome and Edge, which I don't want to use for this one thing.
Any help? Thanks!

Re: Regions Bank login
How about contacting your bank? We can't do anything with a non-descript "something went wrong" message.

Re: Regions Bank login
Looks like global event.
Like a bunch of other banks.
Code: Select all
Timestamp: 2/9/2021 8:54:51 AM
Error: ReferenceError: event is not defined
Source File: https://login.regions.com/Assets/Scripts/login.min.js?v=h2l4kwjSmFhsosN9YheUZsPHCE_r3xd9N8PjjY8kk9s
Line: 14Also, Moonraker good job on being completely useless and not only not scrolling down to the most RECENT event but not clearing it before submitting.Moonchild wrote: ↑2020-09-14, 16:38The website tries to use an (ambiguous) global event instead of the event parameter passed into the event handler. If the js wasn't minified I would be able to point out exactly where this happens, but it's something the webmaster should be made aware of. Solving this in the script will likely be a trivial 1-minute job.

Moonraker: Your help wasn't help at all. It provided nothing of consequence.
OP: You need to tell your bank what I quoted. It will help them understand. They will have less legit reason if you can TELL them what the problem is and mention that it worked fine a few days ago or whatever.

Re: Regions Bank login
Moonraker, you're not helping. The OP will likely not know WHAT to tell their bank at this point.
So, the issue has been pointed out in Tobin's quote of what I said elsewhere. No point in asking the bank "why doesn't it work?" because it's pretty clear looking at the error console why and you can hand the issue on a silver platter to them, including the proposed solution. Other than poor-form stubbornness to cater to only Chrome, there will then be no reason to not fix it.

Thanks, that works! Strange that this page works and the other one doesn't. I sent the code snippet from New Tobin Paradigm off to them, am curious if they update the other login page coding.josephd wrote: ↑2021-02-09, 16:33Try the following link. In other worlds, you aren't Moonraker.
