(not related to PM29 - also on PM28)

When visiting this websites' articles, for some reason PM usually slows down almost to a halt (i.e. becomes unresponsive) for about 5-10 seconds (on a slow PC, but a faster one is not much better). After that, PM and the website work normally. It seems whatever was trying to 'load', is now complete. If other articles are visited on the same website, same delay occurs. Looks like it's happening while "Transferring data from disqus.com" (status bar info).

This is a sample of the errors I see, from a clean PM portable. If there's something on the websites' part that could/should be changed, please let me in know in reasonable detail so I can copy/paste/forward to them. Thanks.

yes, I had already done that. go to homepage, scroll back and forth, click articles, go back, click other links, nothing noteworthy, just smooth and fast.

If you mean the top menu links, these lead to article indexes/categories. None of these top links point to actual articles, and none include Disqus comments. These work fine here, too.

Blocking all connections to disqus.com on this website ultimately solves the problem, which was not PC-related. They just switched to another commenting platform anyway (but they still make connections to disqus), so blocking disqus is not a problem.

No slowdown here on thepressproject.gr after browsing the linked articles (open simultaneously) for about ten minutes - disqus/disquscdn connections were allowed. (normal and new profiles, PM29.1, W7 x86, fairly old PC)
