All the map view pages on each listing on there seem to do it, plus I have seen the same effect on some similar maps on linked estate agent websites, although they might be linking to the same resource.
If I repeatedly hit the zoom in or out button rapidly, usually this is on satellite view, but I think it does it in regular mode too, the desktop sometimes freezes, I cannot move the mouse pointer or anything. After a few seconds/minutes the page finishes drawing and things go back to normal. Also I've seen a stopped script warning appear. I tried in a fresh profile, it still happened, it didn't happen when I tried in Firefox, although I haven't tried so much in that. If I go slowly one zoom level at a time it's OK and rarely gives problems. They seem to use embedded google maps, although I've not had this happen on google maps itself. This is on Linux, unstable PM, I have noticed this effect for a few days but not perhaps a couple of months ago.

if you can't move the mouse pointer then there's an issue with your graphics driver, probably tickled wrong by WebGL of the map.

Yes, it must be some OS issue going on, not triggered by all browsers. I tried Chromium just now and that worked without any problems.
I found a simple workaround for Pale Moon - on the right hand side there is a little person icon, hovering on it says "Drag Pegman onto the map to open Street View" so drag Pegman onto the marker on the map. Then it switches to Street View. Now on the top left of the screen it says View on Google Maps, click that and a new tab opens with Google Maps in Street View mode at the same point of view as before. If you then click on the left pointing arrow at the top left of the screen you exit street view, and the middle of the map is where you put Pegman. The explanation takes longer than the clicks required, it's a fairly easy way to switch to Google Maps and keep the same position, and Google Maps itself works without problems.
