Weather forecast works fine but the excellent maps with a myriad of info not loading unfortunately. Neverending rotating throbber. Basilisk same story. Tested with clean profile, no addons, no tweaks.

I know you tried with a clean profile, but please doublecheck your cookie and local storage settings.
If either are refused, the map shows precisely the neverending, rotating throbber that you described.
( For local storage: about:config -> dom.storage.enabled = true )

dom.storage is enabled and so are cookies.
Linux 28.10.0 x64 standalone I forgot to add. Does that make a difference?

Thanks all for checking.
There's something wrong on my end. It does indeed work when I completely remove the pale moon folder. Just removing the prefs.js didn't do it.
I'll eventually find out what it is in my settings.
