Re: Incorrect display of the site www.nhl.com
I think you're exaggerating saying "many many versions ago". There has been quite some discussion about nhl.com and efforts made to fix the display of the site not too long ago (search the forum).
Although what it displays now (or rather doesn't display now) is something different.

Re: Incorrect display of the site www.nhl.com
Yeah, I was the one who brought that up before. I supplied all the info I could in that thread, but I don't have the knowledge needed to figure out what the problem is myself and I wasn't able to get anyone to help with it probably because it's not a major issue. I do hope it can be fixed soon, though.
FWIW, the issue is only when the screen is maximized. If you shrink PM down to "mobile" size, the mobile version of the site loads fine. I just use another browser to view the site for now, but neither workaround is ideal. It's all we got until it is fixed.
Also the first bad build of Nightly with this issue was 2018-09-12 v64.0a1. The issue in Pale Moon has probably been 4-5 versions, but I haven't been counting.

Re: Incorrect display of the site www.nhl.com
So, it's been over a year now (Oct 2019) since this issue was first brought to attention here and unfortunately, it still hasn't been addressed. Are there plans to include this fix in an update soon? Is there something particularly difficult about the issues causing the site to not display in any kind of a usable state? I included much of the necessary information needed to figure it out in the thread I started back then which has been locked for some reason, so I will include it here.
Example address: https://www.nhl.com/capitals/schedule
First good build: 2018-09-13 v64.0a1 (g)
Last bad build: 2018-09-12 v64.0a1 (b)
pushlog: https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/ ... d5ec3860ed
The conclusions made is the mobile version of the site loads correctly (shrink the full screen browser window down far enough and it switches to mobile and the site is usable), but the desktop version is broken.
