ebay no longer functions properly (login)
I tried everything I can think of including refreshing but I can't get past what happens at the attachment.
No idea why. Just can't log in.
EDIT: needed to correct what I wrote.

Re: ebay no longer functions properly (login)
I had to set an override for eBay many years ago.
Went to eBay and since I'm automatically logged in,
I logged out and had no problem logging back in.
Try:
general.useragent.override.ebay.com
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:100.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/100.0

Your attachment shows you using Iceweasel-UXP. How up to date is that (in regards to UXP commits) compared to Pale Moon 33.2.0?

Tried that, sadly, it didn't work. I never had problems with this till today. I am using a basilisk based web browser, so its possible your solution wouldn't work because of that. Not sure beyond this.

Just used Basilisk with no problem.
Maybe go back a version.

arkaland wrote: ↑2024-06-22, 21:33I had the same problem not so long ago, but I solved it by a simple method. I have to use New Moon (an unbranded 32-bit fork of Pale Moon) which I keep up-to-date with the same version as the latest release of Pale Moon, so if changing the useragent string doesn't solve your problem, try this: At the end of your browsing session, open the "Preferences" window to where it lets you view the Cookies before shutting down the browser, then delete any cookies EXCEPT eBay's cookies. You'll need to do that every day, but you get used to it. If you try this, you should find that eBay will recognize you and won't ask for your Username -- just your Password. It works for me, every day.
I have trouble keeping up with which useragent I need to have. I wonder what basilisk's is now.
