https://www.ticketmaster.ie/ gives me the following when I open it.

Code: Select all

Your Session Has Been Suspended
Something about your browsing behavior or network made us think you were a bot.

What can I do to resolve this?

Try again from a different device or a different location
Ensure you have enabled JavaScript in your web browser
Remove any third party browser plugins that may be running

This happens even in safe mode.

Console outputs only this

Code: Select all

Content Security Policy: Ignoring “'unsafe-inline'” within script-src: ‘strict-dynamic’ specified
(unknown)
Content Security Policy: Ignoring “https:” within script-src: ‘strict-dynamic’ specified
(unknown)
Content Security Policy: Ignoring “http:” within script-src: ‘strict-dynamic’ specified
(unknown)
It works fine on Firefox from the same machine.

No issues here. Have you changed the user agent mode in preferences -> advanced to gecko or native, perhaps?

I clicked on the OP's link using 64 bit linux Pale Moon 33.1.0 and I also got the "Your Session Has Been Suspended" prompt. But that is the very "first" time I have ever been on Ticketmaster.

But I am using all the default settings for Pale Moon. The only extensions I use are uBlock Origin and Zoom Label. The only theme I'm using for Pale Moon is Past Modern Revisited. And I live in the state of Texas in the US.

Maybe they are filtering on "linux" then? I didn't visit the site before today either and it Just Worked™

I'm running PM on Linux. Visited the site and clicked around on it, no problems. Is the OP on Linux? I didn't see anything in the post what OS is being used.

PM 33.1.0 x64 (Firefox comp.), Win7 HP x64 - "Session Suspended", as well.
Now, here, you see, it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!

Curious. Might be an idea for everyone to list potential culprits like adblocker in use, etc.
I'm using Adblock Latitude with Lunar Blocklist, Adblock Warning Removal list, Peter Lowe's list and I don't Care About Cookies list. - and I have no issues.

I again went to the Ticketmaster site, disabled uBlock Origin. Then exited to my Home Page. Then went into Privacy for Pale Moon and deleted the cookies for Ticketmaster. Then I went back to Ticketmaster and still got the "Session Suspended" prompt.

Yes, I'm using Linux too.

Pale Moon 33.1.0 (64-bit) (GTK2)

I'm using uBlock Origin with the built-in lists and EasyList. However I still get the "You're suspended" message after disabling it, deleting all ticketmaster cookies and trying safe mode.

I don't think uBlock Origin is causing any problems, as I use it.

Well, no idea then. Best reach out to the site owners if you want to gain access to it because beats me what check they use that thinks some people are bots but not others.

For another point of reference, .ie gives me the blocked message (with Basilisk, but not Firefox), but ticketmaster.com.au works fine.

I can visit and navigate https://www.ticketmaster.ie/ without any suspended message or similar. Pale Moon 33.1.0 (64 bit) on Windows 10 from Australia with uBlock Origin. (I don't have any other add-ons to do funny things with sites.)
Laptop 1: Windows 11 64-bit, i7 @ 2.80GHz, 16GB, NVIDIA GeForce MX450.
Laptop 2: Windows 10 32-bit, Atom Z3735F @ 1.33GHz, 2GB, Intel HD Graphics.
Laptop 3: Linux Mint 20.3 64-bit, i5 @ 2.5GHz, 8GB, Intel HD Graphics 620.

I tried using my phone's (from a different country) mobile data instead of my home wifi, and same result: Pale Moon - bloocked; Other browsers - good.

Contacted them.

First email response was to disable addons, enable Javascript, disable any VPN, avoid large public wifi networks...

When I explained the issue in detail about it not working on Pale Moon, and happening to a fairly large amout of PM users, their response was
"We recommend keeping using Firefox if it does not work on other browsers."

They weren't forthcoming with details on how their bot detection algorithm works and why it block just particular browsers.

Well, I've given them a few more details about this and asked them to nonetheless pass the information to their technical web team. Not sure if they act upon it, but this is pretty much all I can do.

Thanks again to everyone for your help.
