Dropbox login page is blank Topic is solved

https://www.dropbox.com/login gives me a blank page. I'm using XenialPup64-7.5 on a usb. The page loads properly with Firefox.

I clicked on your link and it took me to the "Log in or Sign up" page. No blank page. This is as far as I could go since I do not have a Dropbox account.

At this time I am using 64 bit linux Pale Moon 33.1.0 running in 64 bit linux Mint 21.3 (Virginia) Xfce.

Login page shows correctly with PM 33.1.0 and Win7 (both x64). It even detects my mostly neglected Google account and suggests logging in with it (thanks, but no thanks).

Could be related to Google's recaptcha breakage of the past couple of days. I think I recall Dropbox giving a blank page if it can't access a recaptcha.

I've upgraded to fossapup64 on a USB stick, Pale Moon 31.10 version 9.564bit I still get a blank page at https://www.dropbox.com/login

Maybe this info from developer tool Console helps. I'm not sure what/how to do about this:

Also the sign in feature on the drop box icon in the panel brings me to a page that has a logo and Register link and some links at the bottom. Nothing for signing in and gives thewse errors:

According to the archives, there is no Pale Moon version 31.10. But if you are using anything from the 31.x series then you are nearly 2 years out of date, and a lot has been added and changed that you would need for running modern websites like Dropbox. You will need to update to the latest version 33.1.0 as the first action. And I think that if you are jumping from 31.x to 33.x you will need to start with a clean profile, if I recall correctly.

I think Puppy Linux runs everything as root, and Dropbox may not like that. You'll need to ask other Puppy users, we can't do support for non-Pale Moon related programs on this forum.
