The cookies on www.tradera.com do not work.

Unread post by lgrfbs » 2022-07-06, 06:46

Hello
When I visit www.tradera.com with Pale Moon 31.1.0 (64bit)
this is not how accepting cookies works.
Everything works nicely with Opera or FireFox, so how should I go about making it work?

I use Tradera myself and don't have any issues. You'll have to be a lot more specific what you're trying to do, what cookies aren't working, and what you're trying to teach us about how cookies work ;P

Also, wrong board. I'll move it.

  • Opens a tab
  • Entering the address to Tradera
  • Tradera loads + cookie confirmation box
  • Clicks Approve All
  • The confirmation box does not disappear, but just stands and waits without anything happening.

Ah so it's the stupid cookie dialog that is your issue. OK.

OK I verified this. seems they made a recent change that now breaks with

Code: Select all

10:07:03.073 TypeError: Promise.all(...).then(...).catch(...).finally is not a function 1 cmp2ui-sv.js:2:202153
	V https://cmp.quantcast.com/tcfv2/42/cmp2ui-sv.js:2:202153
	z https://cmp.quantcast.com/tcfv2/42/cmp2ui-sv.js:2:202439
	ae https://cmp.quantcast.com/tcfv2/42/cmp2ui-sv.js:2:82501
	o https://static.tradera.net/touchweb/static/output/script/chunks/chunk.vendor-sentry.d6e8002efa.js:1:87061
I suggest you contact tradera customer support and let them know about this issue. It seems to be a scripting error on their end.
As a workaround, use the "I don't care about cookies" extension to get a reprieve from these kinds of pointless and labour-intensive dialogs when you just want to visit sites.

Exactly so.
I am Swedish who does not use my English knowledge very often, so it becomes machine translated texts and sometimes own writing and there you have the background to how my text comes about.

Will take contact with tradera.

I just had a chat with customer support. Of course they are limited in what they can do at 1st line support but they promised to pass it on. If more reports come in (especially the same day) I'm guessing it might be more likely to get attention by the webmaster.

I just came from Tradera's chat as well.
Got a URL to type in an error report form.
https://info.tradera.com/underlag/

Thanks for all help, I love how the tabs appear as a grid when clicking the 4 small squares icon.
